Friday was a whirlwind of a day. Granddaddy took Ian and his friend, Timmy, to play golf. Ella and I stayed home and got a few things caught up. But it also ended up with me on the phone dealing with the dishwasher/floor issue. Along, with finding out why our trash wasn't picked up like normal.
So by 5:00, I was done adulting. I poured a glass of wine, grabbed my Kindle, and sat on the back deck!
When Ben got home, he joined me! We sat on the back deck till it was dark just talking. Duke was not amused. He was ready for bed! Ian played basketball in the driveway! Ella had her friend, Addison, spending the night with her!
Saturday morning, we were up early to head to the lake!
We jumped off the dock....
We tubed...
Then we ended with a boat ride...
and some of us napped 😉
Stephanie and Jud met us at our house for pizza and drinks! Then, they took Conyer home because he had baseball on Sunday! Addison spent the night again with us!
Sunday, my guys hit the golf course while us girls enjoyed a quiet morning! I worked on some blog stuff, watched our church service on facebook live!
Then we spent the rest of the afternoon at the pool. The guys met us at the pool after golf. We swam until about 5! Headed home for showers, dinner, a movie, and bed!!
This is what summer is all about!!!
