Recipe Club {Ritz Cracker Chicken}

Hello Friends! I can not believe that we only have 4 more days of 2016....CRAZY!

I have been really horrible at "documenting" my meals lately, so I thought I would share my Ritz Cracker Chicken with y'all! I posted this recipe when I had only been blogging for about 2 months, so  I thought it was worth sharing again! Plus, it is our Christmas Dinner meal!! It is seriously one of my families FAVORITE meals!

So join Johannah and I for our Recipe Club Link Up!

Ritz Cracker Chicken

My Mother in Law shared this recipe with me because her Mother in Law shared it with her!
Since it is one of Ian's favorite meals maybe one day I will share it with my daughter in law :)

Ingredients:

4 boneless skinless chicken breast
2 sleeves of ritz crackers
2 cups of parmesan cheese
1 cup of vegetable oil
course ground pepper (optional)

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees

crush the ritz crackers (I do this while they are still in the sleeve)
Crush them really good

Pour the crushed crackers into a bowl and add the parmesan cheese
stir together

My chicken, oil, and cracker/cheese mix

Dip each chicken breast in the oil

Then roll the chicken around in the cracker/cheese mixture

Make sure the chicken is covered with the

cracker/cheese mix and place on a cookie sheet

Then scoop a handful of the mixture and put on top of each piece of chicken!
Sprinkle course ground pepper on top of the chicken!

Place in the oven for about 30 minutes or so
until the chicken is cooked through out

The crackers should be a golden brown

I did not get a picture of the chicken when I
pulled it out of the oven because my kids were "starving"
You know because I never feed them ;)

Hope you enjoy!

I can't wait to see what you guys share today!
So grab our graphic and join us!

Christmas Fun!

Hello Friends!
I can't believe Christmas has come and gone :(
But at least today I get to share our Christmas Fun!

Friday started with the kids and I baking! Well  I  guess I should say Ella and I baking! Ian was in and out. He was really only interested in the final product! HA
We made sugar cookies

She baked mini cupcakes
and decorated them all by her self :)
So pretty! ;)
and decorated a special one just for Santa!

Friday night looked a lot like this....
Chili, Christmas movie, and a fire!
Then it was a glass of wine for me and snuggles in my lap!

Merry Christmas Eve!
Ella and I spent the morning at the nail salon!
That evening we went to Candlelight Service at Church!
Ninja Japanese Steakhouse for dinner! YUM!
Then it was home to leave Cookies for Santa and Carrots for the Reindeer!

Merry Christmas!
Santa was good to The Bramlett Children!
Ian's side
Ella's side
Coming down the stairs to see what Santa left her!
Notice with her favorite gift of all! :)
Then Ian made it down the stairs!
Checking everything out!

Duke was not so sure about the CRAZINESS of Christmas morning! :)
The kids and I got Ben a new golf club!

Ella picked Ben out a flashlight from her Santa Shop!
Ella loves her Trixie girl!
The pups enjoyed their new toys from Santa!

Around 7:45, Ben's parents and brother came over!
The kids were so excited to give them their gifts!
Chris also got a flashlight from Ella's Santa Shop at school!
Granddaddy got handkerchiefs!
Ian bought Chris golf balls with his own money! He also got Mike and Ben golf balls, as well!
Grammy got a mug from Ella!
Chris gave Ben a cigar holder with his initials! So Cool!
Giving out more gifts! :)
The kids also picked out Chris a new golf bag!

Copper loved his Santa Claus from Grammy and Granddaddy
Ella helping Grammy give Trixie her gifts!
Ben got a box of cigars!
The rest of our day consisted of lots of food, laughter, and game playing!

Followed closely by a few naps!

Then after our traditional Christmas dinner of Ritz Chicken, Au Gratin Potatoes, and fried Orka!

We all felt like this......
Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!

We had a BLESSED Christmas day! I pray you did the same!

Now I am off to take down Christmas decorations and try to get this house back in some sort of order! HA
While the boys head to the Golf Course to try our their new clubs if the rain holds off!

xoxo, Heather
