Thursday Confessions

Hang tight friends, it's almost Friday!!
Today I am confessing some of my sins with my sweet blogger friend Leigh!

I STRONGLY dislike going grocery shopping with my kids! I'm talking about stores like Publix, Target, Wal-Mart, etc. It's awful..they want EVERYTHING and since they are bored they constantly touch each other and argue!

I waited to go shopping today because Ian was going to play golf with his granddaddy and a friend invited Ella over to play:) #iknowimawful

Ben had a gift card to Best Buy so he bought himself an Apple Watch.  Well he didn't love it so he offered it to me and I LOVE it! I feel guilty and I know I should tell him to take it back to get himself something else, but I didn't.....
#horriblewife

She is really pretty, huh?!?!?

I keep buying more storage on my Mac because I don't want to take the time to delete old files or unnecessary pictures! #lazy

Maybe if I just look like this...Ben will do it for me!!

I can make a mean White Wine Sangria now because I have watched Ben's aunt make it 8,536 times! ;)

I will even share the recipe because it is that GOOD!!

1 bottle of Riesling
1 cup of Splenda
2 cups of orange juice
 2 lemons
 2 limes
1 cup of Limon or Orange Rum
Diet 7 up or Sprite
Fruit such as strawberries, blueberries, peaches (optional)

Pour Wine and Rum in pitcher
Squeeze the juice from the lemons and limes
(I use a juicer so I don't get the seeds in the pitcher)
Add the orange juice
give it a good stir
pour in your Splenda

Chill for at least 2 hours, but it's better to chill over night!

When you are ready to enjoy- pour over ice
then add your fruit to make it look pretty and top off your glass with the Z-up or Sprite!
Don't leave off the Z-Up or Sprite because it really does make a difference!

I think that is enough confessions for one week! Hope you guys still love me;)

Happy Thursday!!

xoxo, Heather

  1. Sangria my summer beverage of choice! Reds, whites, does not matter and homemade is best. Thanks for confessing this morning on Party at My Place.

  3. I am definitely going to try that White Sangria. Sounds yummy! I feel the same way about grocery shopping with my kids, which is why I'm totally hooked on the free grocery pick up at Walmart. Life changing!! You should check it out if it's available in your area.

I have tried the Wal-Mart pick up, but the closest one to me was a drive, so I'm hoping one will come closer to me!!

  4. Girl, I feel you on the shopping with kids situation. I've been going during lunch when my hubby comes home. I'd rather be rushed than take 2 littles!! SAMs is about the only place I don't mind taking them both because they have the oversized carts!! Maybe shopping then that sangria !! Ha!!

  6. Who has time to store and organize files on their computers?! Not me, I'll just keep adding storage like the sucker I am. HA. Is is bad that I dread when my husband goes in the grocery store with me?! I have a list and stick to the essentials. When he walks in, our bill instantly grows....and grows.
