Recipe Club {Dirty Rice}

Happy Hump Day Friends! Hope your week is going well!!
I love Recipe Club Day! I love learning new recipes and sharing new recipes. So Johannah and I  hope you will grab our graphic and join us!!

Today I am sharing one of my families FAVORITE side dishes! It is about the easiest thing you can fix! It's called Dirty Rice! Sounds yummy, huh?!?!?! I promise you it really is good!!

Preheat your oven to 350

You will need:

1 can of Campell's Beef Broth
1 can of Campbell's French Onion Soup
3.5 cups of Instant White Rice
1 tablespoon of butter

I have always made it in my pyrex round dish

Pour your soups in first then add your rice
stir together

Add your tablespoon of butter right on top

Place in your oven and bake for about 20-25 minutes on 350....
Basically until the rice has absorbed all the soup

Once I pull it out of the oven, I give it another stir....set a spoonful to the side to taste.
This is when Ben or one of the kids will "sneak" and taste it to make sure the rice is not "crunchy" anymore! HA
They tell me they are helping me out!

If your rice is not "crunchy" anymore then you know your Dirty Rice is ready!

This night I served it with BBQ Chicken and steamed broccoli.

My sweet mother in law shared this recipe with me right when Ben and I got married!
I have friends call me all the time asking for this recipe because their kids want that dirty rice stuff that Mrs. Heather makes! HAHAHA

Another tip! If you need this rice to cook faster...no problem! just bump up your oven to 400 and it should be ready in about 15 minutes!

It's also a super easy recipe to double if you need to feed more people!

Also if any of y'all make it and use brown instant rice instead of the white please let me know how it turns out! I need to try it with brown rice!

I am also so excited to announce that I will be co-hosting Johannah's 'Hello Monday' Link up with her! So grab our new graphic and join us Monday! Anything goes!!
